The realms of fantasy are filled with diminutive figures who seem far more capable of defeating evil than their larger cousins. Are they more cunning? Are they better fighters? Can they withstand the temptations that ultimately lead lesser willed mortals to their doom? Maybe evil just has poor eyesight. In any event, these characters survive and show the Goliaths of their worlds that size isn’t everything. They come in different guises, Dwarfs, Halflings, Gnomes, Hobbits and more. I have tried to compile a list of known heroes of small stature but with great, well... greatness and have tried to find the best sites dedicated to them.
