Completely out of touch. That is exactly what King Dunwin Plonk is with his subjects, his staff and even his family. Starting on the throne in immaturity, the King bypassed maturity and jumped straight to senility. In blissful ignorance, he believes that he is loved by all and is happy to tuck in to his many daily meals, safe in the knowledge that he is doing a good job at running the kingdom. Nobody can be positively sure how he became a father and he doesn’t seem to be too upset at the thought of losing his only daughter either. This tends to put a spanner in the works of Grumble’s master plan, at least until the Captain of the Guard decides to take matters in to his own hands... |
